Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you have helmets for riders? No, we do not provide helmets at this time. If you would like to wear a helmet on your ride, you will need to bring your own.
- What should I wear for my trail ride? We recommend long pants and we require closed-toe shoes. Other than that, please dress for the weather (coats, jackets, gloves, rain coat, etc.)
- How much do you charge for rides? For a 2 hour ride, it is $70 per person ($20 nonrefundable deposit due at booking).
- Do you ride in the snow/rain/etc.? We ride in all types of weather. Please dress accordingly. If it is icy or storming, we will not do the ride and will reschedule.
- How long are your rides? Rides average around 2 hours in length.
- How fast do the horses go? Can we gallop? Our regular trail rides are walking only. More experienced riders may schedule a ride that is more active. Please make sure to let us know if you are interested in an advanced ride.
- What are your age restrictions? We do not have any age restrictions. Young children must ride double with a parent. We have buddy stirrups available for younger children who are riding double.
- Do you have weight restrictions? Yes, riders must weigh less than 260 lbs.
- Do you give riding lessons? Riding lessons are available by appointment only. Please call for more information about lessons. Lessons are not always available or offered.
